Happy Halloween 5 Minute Dessert Recipes

 Chocolate Dirt Nap Graveyard Pie  Witchy Pumpkin Pie Dessert  Seriously easy of course I don't bake! For the graveyard dessert: Use store bought chocolate cookies snack pack chocolate pudding soft molasses or pumpkin cookies that cut easy any store bought frosting skull picks that are found at any party store ziplock bag Nutella optional gummy worms Assembly: Frost a molasses cut in half cookie with Nutella. Use frosting place in a ziplock bag end snipped to write Gorey sayings. Fill a dessert cup with pudding, sprinkle with crumbled chocolate cookies. Add cookie to the back, stick the pick inside the dirt. If you happen to have gummy worms stick them in the dirt too! Pumpkin Witch Pie: 1 box pumpkin spice instant pudding made by package directions individual graham cracker store bought crusts whipped topping candy corns Witch picks Pour into prepared crusts, top with whipped topping. Decorate with witch picks and candy corns. HAPPY

Curt's Italian Stuffed Pizza Pizzone Pie This was a guest post I did back in February this year.... I call it Pizzone Pizza This is the name I picked on the guest post,  Pizzone, but it fit. I love that it's kind of a pie, top and bottom crust, it's more like a pot pie pizza~ Depending on what you like the skies the limit and just a little each below is all you need in this pizza. You will need to stuff your pizza :   1 pound of homemade pizza dough or store bought   parchment paper   1 deep dish pie plate up to 10 inch max size   1 tablespoon or more of your favorites chopped: olives, peppers, eggplant, mushrooms, escarole,  spinach   1 cup of packaged or cooked meats: sausage, pepperoni, ham, capicola, meatball, steak, anchovies,  shrimp  1 cup shredded mozzarella  2 tablespoons grated romano cheese  1/2 cup pizza sauce or tomato sauce  On a large cutting board, cut dough in half. Roll dough out to fit the pie plate up to 10 inches

Mom's Fried Zucchini Appetizer Recipe

My mom uses basic ingredients when cooking,  nothing fancy.  I learned alot from her this is one of my favorites and so easy to make! Italian flavored bread crumbs 1 teaspoon each dried oregano, parsley, basil and garlic powder 3 teaspoons grating cheese 1 ziplock bag 1 egg beaten with around 3 tablespoons of water 2 or 3 small sliced zucchini's around 1/2 inch in thickness oil for frying Canola preferred In the ziplock bag add 2 cups of bread crumbs add all the seasoning and cheese. Dip the sliced zucchini in the egg. Shake in the seasoned bread crumbs. Heat oil on medium heat, drop them in the oil not crowding them and fry until golden brown on each side. Tequila Shrimp Recipe

 Outdoor or indoor grilling... these are super in flavor! Great for a crowd!  Tequila Lime Shrimp 2 tablespoons Tequila 2 tablespoons lime juice 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning pinch cayenne pepper salt pepper to taste 1/4 cup olive oil 1 pound extra large shrimp peeled deveined with tails on for presentation wooden skewers soaked in a few tablespoons more of Tequila and the rest water for 1/2 hour one large zip lock bag Extra fresh limes for serving and garnish Whisk all ingredients together. Pour this in a large Ziploc bag with shrimp for 1-2 hours (remembering citrus will cook the shrimp if it's marinaded too long) .  Drain. Thread each shrimp on soaked wooden skewers. Spray grill grates lightly with cooking oil. Heat grill. Place shrimp on the grill. Cook shrimp until it turns pink. Takes around 5 minutes total. Serve with slices or wedges of lime.

Pumpkin Gingersnap Trifle Recipe

  One of the Simple Desserts that anyone can make!   Ingredients: 2 packages of Jello seasonal Instant pumpkin Pie Filling (Per Package Instructions) 2 Cups Crushed Gingersnap Cookies 5 Tablespoons of Butter (Melted) 2 tablespoons Sugar Canned Reddi Wip Garnish Cinnamon Sticks, Ground Cinnamon Directions: Mix Crushed Gingersnap Cookies with Melted Butter and Sugar. Press into a 9 Inch Pie Plate. Mix Pumpkin Pie Filling to Package Instructions. Pour into Crust. Serve with whipped cream and garnishes as shown. Easy Mexican Taco Soup Recipe

If your on the go like I am, it's work all day, home and not wanting anything fancy... This will hit that spot and fill you up fast! 1 lb ground beef, browned 1 package taco seasoning 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and cayenne pepper,  1 15 ounce can corn (undrained) 1 15 ounce can Kidney beans (undrained) 1 22 ounce large can stewed tomatoes (chop if desired) 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce 1 cup water cheddar cheese tortilla chips Mix everything but cheese and chips together in a large pot and simmer approximately 20 minutes. Pour into bowls garnish if preferred with shredded cheese, sour cream, black olives, jalapenos, and add crushed tortilla chips.

Eggplant Parmesano Pizza Recipe

8 to 10 slices of fresh tomatoes 8 to 10 slices of fresh eggplant 1 pound of fresh or store bought pizza/ bread dough pizza sauce in a can 2 cups shredded mozzarella 1/2 teaspoon each garlic powder, dried oregano, basil and parsley olive oil 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese Spread dough out on parchment paper lined deep cookie sheet pan.  Let rise 1 hour to 1/2 inch thickness. Cook dough on 430 degree hot oven for 10 minutes. Take out of oven. Top with sauce evenly, sliced tomatoes, eggplants, sprinkle with herbs and spices. Drizzle with olive oil. Add the grating cheese and shredded mozzarella.  Bake on 400 degree hot oven until pizza is browned and cheese is melted around 45 minutes.

Pumpkin Fritter Recipe

  3 tablespoons brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon cloves 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 can pumpkin puree 2 extra large eggs, separated pinch of salt vegetable oil for frying Topping: 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/2 cup sugar Mix cinnamon sugar for coating ( mix the 2 teaspoons of cinnamon to 1/2 cup of sugar) In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Mix well. Stir in flour, pumpkin puree, and egg yolks. Set mixture aside. With an electric mixture, beat egg whites and salt together until stiff peaks form. Fold egg whites into pumpkin mixture. In a large, heavy skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Drop pumpkin mixture by teaspoon into hot oil, frying keep turning till brown on both sides. Fry for about 3 minutes, or until golden. Drain fritters on paper towels. Roll the fritters in the sugar mixture to coat.

Potatoes Rueben Style Recipe

We just love this casserole, it's comfort food at it's finest! 4 cups mashed potatoes homemade or instant 2 large eggs 1/4 cup milk 1/3 pound thickly sliced corned beef cut into 1/2 inch pieces (available at grocery deli) 1 can Bavarian  sauerkraut, drained (14 oz) 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard 3 tablespoons Thousand Island Dressing 2 cups shredded combo or Swiss cheese and Cheddar reserving two tablespoons Preheat oven to 400F. In large bowl, stir together potatoes, eggs and milk until well combined. Stir in corned beef, sauerkraut, dressing and mustard. Set aside 2 tablespoons of cheese. Stir in remaining cheese into potato mixture. Pour into a greased 8 x 8 inch oval baking pan. Top with 2 tablespoons cheese. Bake 15-20 minutes or until top is golden.

Easy Baked Loaded French Fries

      Ingredients:   Frozen French fries Bacon Bits Sour Cream Chedder Cheese (Used Low Fat here) Chili Powder Parsley (Garnish for color)   Directions: Preheat Oven to 425 Degrees Place Frozen Fries on a cookie sheet (Spray Sheet with non stick spray) Place Fries in Oven until crispy and Brown *Depends on Oven but usually about 35 min from frozen @425 When done place fries in casserole dish and season with Chili powder about 1 tablespoon or to taste. Smother fries with Chedder Cheese and place in oven on broil low until cheese melted. Shake on Bacon Bits, parsley and add sour cream to top. Let stand to cool about 5 minutes and ENJOY!

Easy Pumpkin Handpie Recipe

 Nope not a baker but pumpkin is my favorite and these are super simple.  These are a premade crust in the dairy case and easy filling mixture, Not complicated using a  4 inch round large cookie cutter and a fork to seal the edges! You won't be disappointed!  Fill rounds fold over and crimp with a fork not pretty but they taste great!  2- Packages of two crust pie dough from your grocery dairy case 1 15 oz can pumpkin puree 1/4 cup ground pecans 2 tablespoons heavy cream 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon each nutmeg, ginger 1 teaspoon vanilla dash salt Topping:  Cinnamon and Sugar more heavy cream Roll dough cut into 4 inch rounds.  Mix the puree with cream, nuts, vanilla, salt and spices. Place 1 teaspoon of mixture on dough fold over like a half moon. Crimp with fork on the edges.  Brush with cream and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.  Bake on heated oven of 375 degrees for 30 minutes or till brown.

Home Made Bagel Bites So Easy

Super Easy! Great Snack anytime for you or the kids! All you need is some fresh mini bagels from your grocery store, favorite pizza sauce, butter, mozzarella or provolone. Lightly Butter and toast the Bagels first, then top with your sauce, other toppings of choice (The sky is the limit!!! See suggestions below) and Cheese. Place in oven on low broil on the top shelf till browned and cheese melted. Options: Add fresh tomatoes chopped, olives, mushrooms, peppers, anchovies, bacon chopped tomatoes and spinach, pineapple and ham, chopped chicken in hot sauce, refried beans and taco sauce with cheddar cheese, shredded steak onions and provolone cheese, white beans and garlic with chopped tomatoes, bacon, hamburger and cheese. Lemon Balsamic Parmesan Ziti Made Simple

Lemon Balsamic Parmesan Ziti Ingredients: Ziti Pasta 1 pound Parmesan Cheese 1/4 Cup Balsamic Vinegar Olive oil Cold pressed Preferred 1/4 Cup 1/4 Stick of butter Italian Style Bread Crumbs 1/8 Cup Fresh Lemon (Sliced) Basil, Parsley, Oregano 1 Teaspoon Each Directions: Boil 1 Pound of Ziti in a Sauce Pot until El-Dante. (Not too soft, and not too hard) Strain and Set Aside. Saute 1 Fully sliced lemon in a mixer of 1/4 cup Olive oil, 3 tablespoons of Aged Balsamic Vinegar and 2 Tablespoons of fresh lemon juice. Saute for 5 minutes on med heat then remove the slices of lemon. Add 1/4 stick of butter just to melt and Set Aside. Pour Pound of Ziti into a large salad bowl and Pour sauteed mixer over the top. Add Basil, Parsley, Oregano, Parmesan Cheese and Bread Crumbs. Toss until all pasta is coated evenly. Serve and Enjoy! Garnish in Picture Optional.
