Spooky Halloween Treats Recipes

These two Halloween Treats are very easy to make and it is a fun way to include your kids in the Holiday.

You can substitute the toppings on your graves for anything you like.

They make Halloween candies so you can top them with candy corn or candy pumpkins or bones instead if you like.

And you can buy the already made icing to pipe on your cookies if you prefer.

The eyeballs are easy too and they taste just like white chocolate covered Reese cups. Yum!

Hope you enjoy these and I hope to see how yours turned out and what you create for Halloween.

Spooky Graveyard Parfait

These spooky graveyards are so easy to assemble and can be made with store-bought ingredients.

It's a perfect project to give your kids to make to enjoy the holiday.

Adding your own touch is easy. And the best part is you get to eat them afterward.

What You Need

  • 2 Boxes of Chocolate Pudding Mix or you can use snack packs.

  • 10 Oreo Cookies

  • 1 Package of Lorna Doone Cookies

  • 1 Cup of White Chocolate Chips

  • 1/2 Cup of Confectioners Sugar

  • Water

  • Red, Blue, and Yellow Food Coloring

  • 1 silicon mold to make skulls (optional)

Preparation

1. Fill your parfait cups to the top with chocolate pudding.

2. Remove the filling from the Oreos and pulverize them in a food processor. If you don't have a food processor, just stick them in a ziplock bag and crush them.

3. Sprinkle the crushed Oreo on top of each pudding cup to make the dirt.

4. Melt your white chocolate chips in the microwave on intervals of 10 seconds, then pour the chocolate into the molds. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to set. Remove the skulls from the mold carefully, and place one skull on each grave. This step is optional, you can easily substitute the skulls for store-bought candy bones, or pumpkins.

5. Mix the confectioners sugar with enough water to make a thick icing. Add equal parts of red, blue and yellow food coloring to your icing. Mix well. You want to make the color black.

6. Pipe two dots on the skull for eyes, and on the back of a Lorna Doone cookie, write RIP and a date. Let sit for 5 minutes to set. Place the cookie behind the skull to make the tombstone.

Enjoy!

Spooky Bloodshot Eyes

  • 3 Tbsp Of Butter

  • 1/2 Cup of White Chocolate Chips

  • 1 Tbsp Of Water

  • Chocolate M&M Candies

  • Red Food Coloring

Preparation

1. In a mixer, combine 1 cup of confectioners sugar, peanut butter, and butter. Mix until well combined. Shape

2. Shape the mix into bite-sized balls and line them on a cookie sheet. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to harden them.

3. Melt your chocolate chips in the microwave on intervals of 10 seconds each, and then roll each peanut butter ball in the chocolate until covered. Allow the excess to drip off and place them on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper or a Silpat.

4. Insert one M&M candy into the top of each ball to make the pupil.

Supermarket Style Loft Cookies

One of my favorite cut out cookies and those soft loft cookies you find in almost every supermarket decorated for whatever holiday theme is going on. You can make Christmas, Halloween, Valentines, anything you want. These are just a great dough so versatile to work with. Kids love these cookies and often eat all the frosting off before the cookie, you may know someone just like that! The frosting is buttery and delicious along with the cookies.
