Curt's Peanut Butter Molasses Cookie Recipe



Well if you got this far then you know that my mom and I got together to develop a cookie that was a smash hit in my book! I love the soft texture of these cookies. Peanut butter and spice and yes everything nice when it comes to flavors. It's a must try to anyone that loves the taste of old fashioned molasses cookies with peanut butter added these are just a super delicious cookie. Well you came to the right place. Here's the easy recipe for these delicious 

2 1/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup soft butter

Mix everything together except add the flour at the end. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls, roll into granulated sugar then press down on each cookie slightly on a parchment lined cookie sheet or greased cookie sheet around 2 inches apart.

Bake in a preheated oven of 350 degrees and bake till edges start to brown and middles crack open around 13 minutes.

Would it be okay to use blackstrap molasses in this recipe?
I have never tried it. Give it a shot and let me know how it turns out! :)
